Where's Virgil

Maybe you mentioned previously that you'd travelled there and liked it? I had this strange impression that you'd lived there. =\ The asian bit comes from your name.

New Zealand and Wales are where they fuck sheep.

And yes, I've been the New Zealand and it's a beautiful country, that still doesn't make up for them getting my country of origin wrong when I've repeatedly stated which one I hail from.

 

For some reason I have Tasmania stuck in my head also, in relation to you. I mean, I know it's there, but is it included as Australia proper? If one were to say ‘somewhere in Australia' should it be assumed Tasmania is also implied?

I realize this is a stupid question, but there it is. Unlike Japan, the Philippians, Hawaii, etc where referring to the main name includes all islands, I've always heard Australia and Tasmania referred to separately.

 

Tasmania is part of Australia, but you wouldn't know it the way they treat us sometimes.

 

Speaking of losing Virgil...

After resurrecting him in the Sobbing Onion basement in Caladon, he offered to reunite with me. However, I had Sebastian in the group at that point, and I had to send him away first- but I wanted him to make some grenades for me before I kicked him out. So I left, and figured I'd just have Virgil rejoin later outside the Panarii temple, where he said he'd be.

As you might imagine, he was nowhere to be found. I looked all over the courtyard, inside the temple, everywhere- I just couldn't find him. Eventually I restored a previous save, kicked Sebastian at the Sobbing Onion and had Virgil join the group right away. But I would really like to have those grenades, so... Any ideas on where to find him?

 

Ah, I see. Man, could't they also have changed the dialogue, so that it wouldn't mislead us?
Anyway, I restored a much previous save, and got the grenades by Sebastian before going to the inn, so I could kick him immediately. Thanks!

 

There's a known bug with Zen/Surly Virgil introduced in the official patch. One of the scripts messes up his standpoint so he disappears forever if you disband him. This will probably be fixed in the next version of the UAP.
