Hi everybody, my character has 100% magical aptitude as a result I can't buy tech stuff anymore. I just want to find 3 more capacitors for Sebestian to make charged rings. Please tell me where can I find them?

    Thanks.

What stage of the game are you at, Bob? I think there are some dungeons with capacitors in, but not many and you may have already been through them.

What about the Foreman of the factory in a Tarant (next to Gil Bates' estate)? I don't know whether he'll deal with mages or not, but if he does, he definitely sells capacitors.

why do you need those rings?
    if you are advanced(100 aptitude)
then you should already have much better rings.

Charged rings are still useful even with a 100% magic aptitude. Reason being, it's a cheap way to boost non-magical followers' dexterity.

Like has been mentioned, you'll find them in dungeons sometimes. An easier way would probably be to go around and steal them from inventors. If you don't mind killing innocent people, then you can just kill them and raid their inventories. What use are they to you anyway if they won't sell to you?

I can't believe a policeman just called me a pig...

Another less sociopathic way to get some capacitors is cleaning out Mr. Plough's warehouse. He has all kinds of tech components in there.

EDIT - That name again is Mr. Plough.

    Thanks for all your replys.
Actually right now I need to find capacitor no more. I found one in a barrel next to Doc Robert's house in Shrouded Hill; another one in a chest in Black Mountain Mine. So Sebestian now has 16 DX - I can't wait for him to level up you know.

If your good enough, you can stealthy invade the premisis by night and steal the stuff, becarefull, if the shop keeper wakes up.... then this will be your fate [IMG]

Charged rings is the only reason I enlist Sebastion. The rings are definitely worth the trouble for followers.

There are four of these necessary capacitors in a barrel from a shipwreck. I think the barrel is the one most south along the shoreline. It's either the wreck South of Caladon or the Derholm Princess one West of Derholm. I always raid both of them. For the Caladonian one, its not far from town. Just follow the coastline for several screens.

You may be able to steal capacitors from vendors and I may have found one on a junk dealer.

A safe way to steal for characters without sufficient stealth: For most shops, the vendor sleeps in the next room where his stash is locked up. At night, that inner door is unlocked. You may barge into the bedroom, advance the time to morning, then with the vendor back outfront selling his wares you can save the game and start work on the locked chest/barrel. One such raid on a magic shoppe gains 10k plus in loot. I usually advance the time again to night and leave the premises.
