When would you all like to see Arcanum 2 set?

It might be interesting, but I for one would never play it because nwn and games like it give me migraines. I miss out on more games because of that.

3rd person would ruin it - you would be remaking morrowing and other shit games like it.

any sort of 'top down' view is good, even a zoom in one like nwn (but thats the only thing Id replicate from the game - it was just so unbelievably shit! arcanum far outstripped it)

 

I agree and think that's the best option.

However I did vote for 1925 as I think that would be a really neat era too. As far as I can tell Vendigroth was in its own "victorian era" at the time of it's demise, and while I love the feel in Arcanum, I'd like to see other time periods as well.

 

I voted a few years after the original....

Perhaps a story that goes somewhere between the lines of a final faceoff between technology (read gun wielders) & magik (Mages, combat Experts & such)

The character (us) will have to choose a side and the quests, NPCs, stories & endings will definitely be different. Offers more replayability & such....

Just my 2 cents though.....
