I have much power, how about I post a couple of logs from my channel to prove it?

What's really funny is that Jar barely knows anything of Communism yet you all mindlessly follow him.

Yeah, I do hate my school. Some kid got in trouble for wearing an Anti-Flag (awsome band) shirt. So, just to piss them off, I'm going to wear my own Anti-Flag shirt on "Flag Day", where they tell everyone to be patriotic and dress in red, white, and blue, or wear american flags and all that stuff.

However, in every single political thing I've seen, there are major flaws. Communists have them, fascists have them, domocrats have them, anarchists, almost everything. So I'm just gonna go with the "Screw it" attitude and stay neautral for now...

The only reason communism fails is human nature... hmm, that's a pretty big flaw though.....

I think the only government that will ever be without major problems is the virtual democracy where EVERYBODY gets to vote on anything/everything you need. With so many people voting there is very little chance of a draw on any subject. Even so, some people will end up disgruntled....

Human nature also causes all the flaws in capitalism; exploitation results from greed; stock market/currency market crashes result from greed and fear; perpetuation of class divisions are born of desire to provide for ones children.

It would also mean that we have layman making complex and abstract decisions rather than experts. Don't get me wrong, the idea appeals to me, but it seems to have some major issues that would need to be resolved.

It might be worth comparing this form of governence to the anarchy that Dennis Moore referred to earlier. Are they polar opposites or almost identical? I'm not sure.

I'm not sure of my terms, but seems to me that a democracy is what we might call an electoral system (to be compared with dictatorships or totalitarianism) whereas communism is an economic system (to be compared with capitalism or socialism). I say this, because I do not believe communism and democracy are mutually exclusive. People tend to say "long live democracy" and "down with the commies" in the same breath, but isn't that just because of the history of the cold war (a capitalist democracy vs a totalitarian communism) rather than any intrinsic opposition between democracy and communism?

Heheh..... You should see some of the egos around this place (where I work). Human nature at it's bright and shiniest or dark and ugliest, depending on your point of view. Dubious political appointments, you scrathc my back I'll scratch yours kind of stuff. You never really respect how bad it is until you see it.

Kinda like the jury system. 12 morons (in most cases) deciding whether or not they think the guy might be guilty or not. It's amazing to see how expert witnesses really have to be good at explaining themselves in order for a jury to understand them.

I think a lot of that cold war mentality was from big American business men concerned that communism really was going to take over the world and destroy their profits/live-lihood/what-ever-else. I do believe that at the time, there were a lot of people convinced that Communism was a really bad thing and that it "must be stopped at all costs".

I'ts kinda funny, it seems that in a Capitalist society, "power people" are either in big business, or in government. In a Communist country, the "power people" are only in politics.

Hey, hang on! I've been on a jury. Oh, right, I see what you mean.

Actually, it was VERY scary to see the rabid dog "he's obviously a nasty man so he must be guilty of this crime" attitude and the complete lack of any ability to understand - no matter how many times the judge carefully explained it - the difference between "I'm leaning towards him being guilty" and "I am sure enough he is guilty to return a verdict of 'Guilty'."

    and the military. *tremble*
