What exactly is the point of madam lils, except for getting training in pursuasion. What exactly do the girls do for you character (does it have any real significance to the game, besides giving your character a reward for his [usually] troubles)? Same with beer. Does it alter you in any way or is it just pretty much a waste of money? And since I asked this.... when you goto madam lils for a single, who do you choose? -Willow -Bunny -Alice -[the other one... forgot] or -Besse, the sheep  ???
I go for Bunny most of the time...Did I say that out loud? Um, the point is, there are several quests there which are very good for experience.
Alice. What can I say, I'm kinky. :winknudge: And yeah, as Jar said, there are quests there. Also something I've noticed, which I haven't seen anyone really say before (at least while I have been visiting the forum), the quests there are slightly different depending on if your character is male or female. Male - All quests offered, reward is always one of Lil's girls Female - One less quest, but you can get gold instead of a girl.
Alcohol increases your strenght. Which is useful for one of the quests. The rest is relatively pointless.
Yeah I drank some alcohol and happened to chekc out my persuasion skill to see if I could be trained further in it, then I found out a lot of things turned red except for strenght, which increased a little. And thanks for the rest of the info. In reply to my own question, I'd go with either Willow or Bunny, usually both though. I just can't help it  Just one more question, is it better to give the medallion of beauty to Madam Lil, get 2 free girls D) and an extra good alignment point, or is it better to use it on my character so he'll have one less thing to level up on for a while? Thanks again guys.
I'd keep it. The extra alignment point wont help you in the long run. You get them easily enough if you play a good character. The medallion on the other hand will get you cheaper goods from the shopkeepers. Which will help you out significantly in the long run.
Actually, if you want to increase your beauty... Use the statue... I wandered around with that thing for AGES!!
I say keep the medallion also. It's more useful than a few XP which you can make up with a few fights anyway. Concerning alcohol... It lowers perception, right? I forget. But if it does, then it'd be a good idea to liquor up NPCs before you try to sneak by/steal from them. As for who I pick at Madam Lil's, I almost always went with Willow. She's the shy one, right? Not only do I choose her, I also say, "I MUST BREAK YOU" out loud in my best Rocky IV-Ivan Drago voice. I'm a real sicko.
Milo, she already does whatever you want her to do! Why the need to "break" her? Now, breaking the half-orc dominatrix, that'd be tough...
I think the point of having Madam Lil's is: To show you that the core team members behind Arcanum are the same ones behind Fallout. No one can ever forget that after the New Reno experience  "Sir Lance-a-lot, I've got an opening you can fill!"
I just like sleeping around in games... it's a funny idea to put it there in the first place. Fallout 2 was and still is the best place to getlaid though. Also drinking makes ya lose intellect and dexterity.
What`s the point to any bordello except getting laid? ...if your not the owner that is. Then the point is obvious I guess. Anyway: In a bordello you get laid. In Arcanum there is a bordllo where you can get laid. What is your problem! - Zen
Well, it could be a place used for spying on different persons too. A feature that sadly is overlooked when people add brothels in their games.
I think the quest was that you go to some guy's house and "service" him. You also get some funny messages if you get a girl in Madam Lil's when you play a female character. Yeah in Fallout 2 the best place is New Reno. I am a porn star and a fighting champion. _________________ You can try all you want but I will still be here.
