What's New In The Arcanum World?

What's new in the world of Arcanum? Any new mods come out in the past month or so? Well....2 years. I uninstalled Arcanum after they took down the Multiplayer servers awhile ago. Geez, I don't even remember when that was.

No new mods, except some french one which came out a while ago. Did they really take down the Multiplayer servers?

And DU is still around, sometimes.

 

They released Arcanum in French? I had no idea. Do you have a link to the French mod?

Yes, I'm pretty sure they took the servers down. Have you tried to play multiplayer lately?

I haven't tried playing online since some time in -03 so I wouldn't really know, but there's at least been a rumor here that they were shut down, but I don't know if it turned out to be true or not.

Well, apparantly multiplayer is working. The reason I thought it went down a few years back is because I wasn't able to create a new account. Reason for that being in order to register an account with WON, the one on Arcanum was broken....You'd have to download the account manager from www.won.com ...Found that out from

Just re-installed Arcanum and tried it out, and everythings working fine. I've already re-made my old character and I'm starting out in Vormatown. Been a couple years. Also opened up the Arcanum World Editor too...Refreshing my memory as I go and with help from the Amtut tutorial.

Hey Dark Underlord (Nice hat taffer!), what happened to the links to the Official Arcanum Dialogue and the Official Arcanum Scripts? They're not working for me.

I think I'm hooked on Arcanum again. Never did finish it. How long did it take Troika to make the game? Having to create all the dialogues ect. by hand...Geezus, it must have taken 10 years to make an entire continent like Arcanum.

...Yeah that was a terrible joke on my part. I'm going to go give the interplay cow some plastic surgery so that it looks just like me.

 

No...I'm pretty sure he'd want to stay as a cow.

 

It might be prudent for him to change though. Given the fragile economic nature of today's corporation, it wouldn't be long until he was auctioned off to become the infinitely less popular Interplay Burger. It would be a sad day indeed.

 

He'd still be a cow, but he'd look like me.
And it's a great sight better than being the Interplay Burger.
