I'm probly the only person on this forum who hasn't played Fallout. I downloaded the demo a couple days ago it really really...

Yea, if I typed what I was going to type I'd most likely be dead in 5 days. It was to slow, but now dynamix got off their asses and fixed tribes 2 so im not in a hurry to get a new game any time so. Although Fallout Tactics has a VERY good demo thats fun to play so thats a posibility and, it would make everyone on this forum happy...

My problem with the demo was it was too slow. It was just too turn based. Ok, it is a turnbased rgp, but i think i like real time better. Fallout tactics is turnbased but no so turnbased that I have to wait 8 mins so everyone in the area is done moving to attack.
Also FOT has a mission editor so i can have fun with that. I really started to want to get FOT when i did one of the training missions and the instructor said "picking a lock is a lot like picking you nose...If you work at it long enough you'll get a present". Ok, that wasn't the exact quote but it was close enough.

 

FOT is fun in lower point levels only.....

Hehe, i dusted off my copy of Aliens vs Pred single player. It's fun, but only as Aliens or pred. With humans you're the hunted, and your getting attacked everywhere. It gets you too jumpy. Once I accidently picked up a medkit(it maked a very bad buzzing sound) and i almost *Bleep*ed myself. Don't even get me started when phones ring.
