Here's a true or false IQ test, much more enjoyable. I received 132, then when I went back to take it again (much faster this time) I got a 166. This one factors in time spent on questions, but at least it's t/f

Three day weekend, here I come! Take it easy everyone.

Congratulations! Your general IQ score is 196.
A person whose IQ score falls in the range of 161 and above is considered to be a "genius".

I think IQ-tests are stupid, and totali unright.

You can't just waltz through a half-hour test and know your IQ. I did a six-week, one-on-one course kind of study when I was 7, and got somewhere around 160. No quotes - the only things I can remember are spatial recognition tests, maths, word meanings/spelling, and a 3-D cube jigsaw puzzle.

(Edit with the link score to come.)

Haven't you noticed all but the banana are sphere like? I think the whole "fruits" thing was made to make you think in completely different directions. It seems it worked on you.

As far as I know an IQ test is supposed to make you think. You needn't expensive knowledge on flora and fauna to score high.

Forgive me for pointing this out, but isn't a pear ... um ... pear-shaped?

I agree with your principle, though - odd one out questions are intrinsically lame because they are too subjective. The should be re-phrased "Which one do you think I want you to think is the odd one out?"

Fatman, how is a pear shaped? I might be missing something here...

I mean, it's oval isn't it? The banana is not.

A pear is fat at the bottom and tapers towards the top, like a teardrop.

True, it is not banana shaped, but it isn't spherical, either, so you couldn't use ... er ... sphericality? sphericalism? sphericalness? ... whatever, as the exclusion criteria. It would exclude bananas AND pears.

Then use what I mentioned above. Oval in shape. Round-y if you like. :)
