What is the 'Red toothed circle"

I have searched without success.
My character showed up with a red
circle around his feet. It looks like a red gear. It looks similiar to what appears when you use a HASTE potion. Except that is a yellow-gold.

I checked my character, my inventory, and log book. No cursed, hexed items etc seen. My stats seem unchanged. And, done of them are red colored.
The next game Worthless MUTT had the same toothed circle.


What is this thing? I am not even sure when or where exactly it appeared.

No, Tempus Fugit summons some golden gears that float around you.

Check you speed. If it is larger than is should, maybe one of your party have used potion of haste to you. If not, it is just bug.

 

I have the latest patch. And, this has appeared around a followers feet (DOG) and my character's feet. In two separate games.
It is not a potion of haste. It would've worn off by know. This thing has not disappeared in several months (game tiime). And, I've no longer let my followers carry Haste potions any more
