I don't know, Flink. Perhaps you are concealing from yourself that you yearn for a world where everyone is of equivalent height.

Demosthenes, wouldn't your presence here preclude having a broken computer??

That's the beauty of the internet Chalupa: You can use it from ANY machine, not just your own.

    Yea come on Chalupa.
Oh and I know a kid who's 6'4" plus who likes to play as dwarves, so your initial hypothesis on a real-life to game-life height correlation is incorrect.
That makes sense due to that fact that dwarves are just really cool, and wanting to play as one is understandable. I like playing Human techie and having my massive dwarf army equipped with flamethrowers and tesla guns. That's just because its fun watching sewer rats get baked by my fire-spewing dwarf legions, MWAHAHAHAHAHA!
No the only dwarf I wouldn't either get naturally, or mind-control, reflection sheild trick to get, is Jormund, just because he tries to be a magician. It's horrible, when he takes double-fatigue and always ends up passing out during a fight.

It is uncommon to see Jormund cast a spell I'm not sure if he even knows magic.
Infact all the mages in Arcanum can't do one magic trick pull a rabbit out of a hat. Hmmm so that means I'm more powerful than all of the mages in Arcanum.

I'm on an iMac right now. The PC is down right now and only the mac has internet access anyway - damn parents. The PC isn't really broken, it's just running really really badly.

Stock Jormund with 6 or 8 small blue potions, & give him an Arcane Dagger. He does all right in a fight, as long as he stays out of mele. Summons a Fire Elemental & does Body of Fire. Better by far than Raven's Body of Jello. As he likes mele so much, my evil PCs often fit him out with the Gauntlets of DX, the speed boots, & his speed stick. Whackity, whackity, whack, whack, whackity, whack, whack, whack, whack, whackity, whack.

He is ok as a mage, and good as a dwarven mage. If the enemy are close enough and you command him to attack not the farest enemy, he can do much damage in melee. Although he always tends to walk for a long time if no command is given.

It is good that he has a high CN for more fatigue. But his high fatigue combat will make him unable to work in a long, deep dunguen.

That's odd. I thought Jormund had mastery in Fire and Force (at least, he's quite a resource in my party). I've never seen him pass out from Fatigue loss, even when he've released a Fire Elemental and thrown off some Fire Flashes. As for his close-quarters capabilities, just throw him a small arcane platemail and the staff of xoranth, and he'll surprise you greatly.
