Everything anyone does is selfish.
Every action you take is in order to help yourself.
Altruism is complete and total fiction.

If you actually look at the reasons why people do nice things, they are for themselves.
It may be as simple as a good feeling they get, because they felt they helped someone, this is the closest thing to doing something for someone else, but is still truly for you. Or you could do good deads as an attempt to bribe your way into your contorted version of afterlife.

So, of course suicide is selfish, but so is being upset about the fact that they died and so is helping save them from killing themselves.

That all being said, I am sorry for your loss, EEB.

Of course, I am not truly saying this in order to help you, because I know it won't, but because it is the socially beneficial thing to do, because I think that I may reap some slight sort of benefit from saying something that is in some measure kind.
Of course, the problem with all that is the fact that I lose the apology to my explanation of its reasoning. However, its affects currently matter less to me than the first section.

 

I'd be more inclined to use the word stupid instead of selfish. Selfish would imply that he's taking something that he shouldn't, or hogging something, etc. As far as I can see, the only thing he's hogging right now is six by six by 3 plot of dirt.

But apart from the usage of selfish, I pretty much agree with what rosie said. Not entirely, mind you, but pretty much.

I would assume fine...she's as immature and hair-trigger tempered as ever. I don't see her much, because I don't live with my parents anymore. She probably still hates you, though.

 

Yes well, she thought I said sorry, and she forgave me. So I assume she didn't mind me, but then I flamed her because I didn't apologise. I then flamed her, because hse said you had to have an evil personality to be liked here. Now she thinks I'm insecure. Besides, all I need to do to get back in her panties is apologise and act like I mean it.
