What every evil sorceror needs is an ugly grunt to carry his stuff and with meta-abuse, the choices are limitless. The question becomes, which hapless muggle is the most chic? Which minion adds the most bling to your entourage? The answer is Treat, a rare orc/snakeman shapeshifter. Now, I know what you're thinking: Once he is mesmerised he transforms and all you have is a not-so-rare snakeman that can carry your stuff, right? Wrong! Use a Body of (element) spell on your mind-controlled pseudo-orc and release; Treat will reappear in orc-form (and he looks great in Dread Armor). Then, when danger threatens again, he shapshifts into a snakeman. He's not the best fighter and he has no level up scheme, but in terms of evil-overlord accessories for the discriminating sorceror-on-the-go, Treat comes away as the most unique and colourful. So to recap, Treat may be returned to his native orc form by using another shapechanging spell on him and then dropping it. Hey Presto!
It's actually pretty trivial to make a small mod that would make him morph back into his humanoid form when combat ends. The developers just assumed that he wouldn't survive his first battle (i.e. the player kills him).
