*shrugs* that was during my barely there period. Ifn't during a Silvio Shadow. I remember his making a reference about crappy aircraft mechanics, and figured he was a pilot off that. You can't hold my lack of knowledge due to laziness against me.

 

Let me break it down for you:

I'm a crewchief(not a pilot) in a flight company. We fly on the aircraft and when on the ground, handle minor maintenance and scheduled inspections. Maintenance company(the incompetent fucks) does the heavier maintenance and more in-depth inspections. While crewchiefs are usually very scrupulous in their maintenance practices, maintenance doesn't have to worry about dying in a fiery crash if they fuck something up.

 

Actually, it was intended as a joke, and I forgot how seriously members of the military take their chosen organizations. Since I'll never be able to join the military, I don't think about it too much.

 

Yea, I'm a pacifist. I'm just hoping they don't instate a draft in the next six years.

 

Over time you learn where you can safely cut corners.

 

That's what I do whenever I'm working as a subcontractor. The guy that hires my team doesn't sign the checks, my boss does. Screw that guy.

 

This is why I hate the construction industry. They're going to rip you off. No matter what.

 

Man, I really hate it when people bring this up. They'll never instate a draft in America again, barring any major World Wars or other emergencies. And then people would be more willing to help.

 

Well, I only do shitty work as a subcontractor because of how much my boss's equipment breaks on the properties. His boss doesn't pay for any of the damage, and he's really cheap with his customers, all because he earns $3 million annually. So, I dick him over.
And I'm a landscaper. Building things in steel and stone is not my forte.

 

As I keep telling my snotty little cousin: Everybody needs a tradie.
