There aren't that many fat people as compared to places in Texas. I mean, damn. But basically, you're right about Baltimore. If you get out of it, and into Baltimore county (where I live), there's lots of horses and it's really beautiful.

I like Boston (but like New York better), but I dislike the bad weather. Maryland has much more temperate weather.

Edit: You can also get some really, really good pastries in Baltimore from this French bakery. I'm drooling just thinking about them.

Chunky: Its a buddhist monk who decided a totalitarian regime fixing the first supposed democratic election was the last straw. I forget which country this was though.

The Pinkerton Thugs come from Boston! It can't possibly be that bad there, and you're right about san fransisco, that place kicks ass too!

Thats where the Dead Kennedy's formed!

A city where a punk band is formed must be very great :). The punk bands form because everything is perfect as everyone knows.

Haha, no sorry, Nirvana is far from the greatest band ever, they're good, but not the greatest.

Oh yeah, Icairus, I met a guy who has a Bianchi bike, they seem pretty good, but not within my means at this point. I did 50 miles on my new bike today though, and I feel pretty good about it, there were a ton of hills on the route I took, I don't think there was more than 3 miles of level ground. My computer said my top speed was 37.5 miles an hour coming down this one hill and I had the breaks on, that was scairy. (Yes my brakes work, I just was holding them very lightly, because I didn't want to stop, i just wanted to control my acceleration)

Edit: Please edit your posts instead of double posting.

It's a matter of opinion. At the moment, Nirvana's my favourite band, but that changes fairly often.

Why listen to nirvana when you COULD be listening to Dinosaur Jr? Or the Descendants? Or Minor Threat? Or the Pixies? Or Fugazi?

I never said they were the greatest band, I said they were a good band and they are from Seattle. A lot of the good bands are from Seattle. Nirvana, Pearl Jam...the list goes on... :p

But I honestly don't believe in a thing called "Greatest Band," they all have some good songs and some bad songs....they all have different music and stuff like that.

Nirvana was a very good band and would be a lot better if Kirk didn't die and they were still making CDs today...and going to concerts and such.

Yeah, Pearl Jam was decent corporate college rock, but not exactly a good band from seattle. You should probably research seattle bands a little more.

EAST COAST IS THE SHIT! EAST SIDE REPRESENT! Yeah, so anyway, aside from that horrible wigger-speak, I love the East Coast and wouldn't live anywhere else, except maybe Italy.

Seriously, theres a lot of good music that comes out of the East coast, I don't think the west Coast is dried up, because I saw some pretty awesome bands out there, but the fans are a bunch of dicks. Though this seems to be true everywhere...

I don't know, Punk bands these days are just a bunch of navel gazing phonies... Except for Aus Rotten, Against Me!, Leftover Crack...

Hmmm, it seems like most of the bands I listen to these days come from Florida, and New York...

Hey! From age 4 toage 11 Simon and Garfunkel were the only guys I paid any attention too. Then I got the Batman Forever soundtrack on cassette, heard a song by a band called Sunny Day Real Estate, and my musical world changed.

My musical watershed came when I took my friend's advice and listened to Dark Side of the Moon. Because of that, I really got into the rest of Pink Floyd, some Led Zeppelin, Sigur Ros and others. In other words, I began to appreciate music that was actually good and which I had previously not liked/bagged the shit out of. I've worked my dad's collection of CD's over - he's got this great 60's superhits 3 CD thingy that I really need to steal off him. I never went through the punk/grunge phase thankfully.

You should listen to Television, and Mission of Burma. Might be hard to find Mission of Burma mp3s though, but its really worth it. If you like pink floyd and led zeppelin etc you'll probably like those bands.

When it comes to music, I enjoy listening to a little of this, a little of that. I don't have any favorite bands or anything, it's mostly about individual songs for me. I'm not one of those stubborn fanboys who couldn't admit that a song sucks just because it's performed by a certain artist or anything such as that.

As far as punk goes, I'd like to recommend Dia Psalma for you, even though their lyrics are in Swedish. They're cool, or at least were until they split up in 1997.

Everyone should check out Coheed & Cambria. They are amazing. They are too good and unique to describe. Just trust me.
