Weird thing about Gar

I once saw Gar casting Dweanor Shield (forgot spelling) he had no scrolls.
Now he casts it everytime we go into battle. So what caused this thank's in advance

 

maybe hes not casting it! somebody else in your party is feeling bad for him. I never knew gar to have any experience in spells, at least in all the games I've had him.

Did you give him a Mage's Staff? That one has the DS spell. He can use it if he has the staff.

 

I always wondered if your followers can use the powers of the staffs!

If you go evil mage, give your mage & neutral followers Healer's Staves. They can & do use them.

 

If I go evil, why would my followers want to heal me? I figure they would like to see me done in!

You are their Evil Overlord (or Overlady). They will treat you well as long as you promise them regular beatings. Besides, I am sure they all want a Barony or something when you rule the world.

 

There is another strange thing about Gar. His reaction never change. It's fixed at 60.

When I raise my Beauty my other followers like me more, but not him.

 

dog was the same way at 50. until one time he died and I resurrected him, he went to 70. try that with gar! have everyone backoff and have gar charge somebody to get killed.
