Weird error (dunno if this is the place to post it).

I've got this weird graphical "glitch", the game is very dark for me. I have tried upping the brightness and gamma and whatnot. It's ok outside but indoors and in caverns I cant see anything not even the monsters.

Would be nice to get to solve this problem. So any help is appreciated.

Seems like no one knows how to solve this problem. Well nm, I'll work it out somehow.

Have you tried equipping a lantern or other light-giving device? Might be worth a try.

 

When you still don't get enough light from a lantern/lamp whatever you can edit how much light it gives. Someone gave an instruction a long time ago so you might try your luck searching for it.

As for the right place Hints, tips is the proper forum for such stuff but don't worry.

I'm sorry for multiple posting - I got "coldn't find language template error" and pressed submit again assuming my meeage didn't make it.

I also didn't get the "delete" button during while using EDIT function. Again - sorry.

 

This happens to me when I Alt-Tab out of then back into the game, or whenever I bring up the game after an popup error. The gamma value won't change in the options menu unless I quit the game and then open again. Never happens for no reason, though.

Jinxed, SOMETHING IS REALLY SCREWED UP WITH THIS THREAD. I got the same error as Dragoon, hence the double-post. It would've taken me another post to report it anyway, so I've put it inside the double-post.[/b]

 

Happened to me once, only all my games/movies/programs/everything was too dark as well, because my monitor was broken. Got a new one, so it's no longer a problem, but it might be your monitor that crapped all over itself. Course, if all other games look fine, then that's not it . Dunno if graphic cards has anything to do with it, but they just might.

 

I got the same problem, but it's not my monitor nor my graphic card. The lanterns don't take any effect on the brightness at all!!! :-?
