Saw it tonight. It's probably one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Also: I'm in love with Rorschach.

Rorschach is the pimp of retribution.

Have you read the comic? If not, you should because it's gritty and real. Right until the very end. I thought the end of the comic was farfetched bullshit and knowing that the movie changes the ending has me more excited to see it.

I was bored to tears watching the movie in the theaters, left when they started playing Simon and Garfunkle for the funeral scene. Wound up streaming it online and enjoyed the last hr of it but the movie was an awful adaptation of the comic which I am a big fan of.

    ANd yes, Rorschach is awesome.

Eh. There wasn't enough Ozymandias in it. ^_^ (Of course, there wasn't in the comic either.)

The movie was pretty good. I haven't read the comic. I'd agree that the music choice for the movie was poor at best and distracting at the worst.

In the middle of the Graveyard scene when the Simon & Garfunkel song came on I said to my friend "This is fucking ridiculous, what a cliche choice." We proceeded to rip on the song for 20 seconds, and then he starting singing along with it, I harmonized, and the dudes in front of us turned around and told us to shut the fuck up.

I'm "that guy" in the theater who talks during movies. I'm usually not that much of a jackass though.

Love the comic and will be avoiding the movie, all the Alan Moore film adaptions have sucked, theres a reason he refuses to associate his name with adaptions of his work.

Although I do kinda want to go just so when its asked 'Who watches the Watchmen?" I can put my hand up.

I loved the comic and I'm looking forward to seeing the film, if for no other reason than knowing that I'll be able to laugh at all the retards going 'I don't get it' afterwards.

    True, it was good.

Very different from the comic, but I still find it a great movie.

It's just so sad that they can't fit all the story, and all the little details from the comic into the movie.

I did like the comic, and I might like the film too. We will see.

I feel that they reduced Nite Owl's character a lot, since they skipped his/their history completely. I don't say it's a bad thing; Nite Owls isn't as awesome as, say, Rorschach and the Comedian, but I was just waiting for the gang to break in and kill the old Nite Owl.

What's up with the 10 min long sex scene? It felt a little, uh, out of place.

I loved that sex scene. It felt so comicbook-cheesy that I had to fight hard not to laugh. Sex in comics is generally pretty cheesy, you know.

Why? It might be healthy for you. Maybe you'll discover something about yourself that you could never dream of. Penis-loving, for example.

Hey, they have a 10 min long sex scene where you get to see plenty of boob. They have to have something for the ladies to.
