Walking around in Tarant

hey all, I've been roaming the gameworld for a little while now, and I was wondering, what is the best way to get to know the locations of other cities?

So far I only have the small village near the crash, and Tarant itself.

And the two headed cow in the curiosity exhibit looks remarkably like the cattle (name?) from Fallout :smile:

well first off welcome to our little family lostsoul and to answer your question you should be shown on your map certain locations when you are given quests so try talking to as many people as possible

 

ic, I got some more locations already.

Is it possible btw to keep the dwarf, and at the same time make the deal with Shuler & Sons? Because atm the drawf won't rejoin me, which kinda sucks as I need his strength for all the goodies I carry around.

 

i wouldn't bother making a deal they are far too arrogant for my liking just kill them and be done with it. magnus will start whining anyway eventually no need to start earlier than you have to

 

well, I'm not really the fighter type so I'd rather let the Shulers live (though it seems very hard this'll keep Magnus around :sad: ). But Magnus is not a loss? I mean, are there better followers around in tarant?

 

at that early stage of the game i'm not sure if there are but you should have at least 2 followers by now being either virgil, magnus or sogg and from memory the schuylers were not that difficult a fight if you need more levels i recommend clearing out the sewers of all the rats and such you sould get aleast 1 or 2 levels from that, sorry if that doesn't help

Who do I talk to about the location of Stillwater? i.e. how do I find it?

 

Well, that's alot farther along in the plot so don't worry about it yet.. But if you have to know it's the Wheel Clan. If I remember that right.

Schyulers aren't really hard to kill, but in any case I'd kill Magnus... just for that.

 

yes, atm I need to do the dwarven clan quest, but I'm leveling up a bit first. I picked up Dante to replace Magnus, who still has some ore of mine, which I want back, eventually. Any info on where to sell Dwarven Ore at the biggest profit?

 

Just whereever.... dwarven ore is nothing special, only good for schems. There's alot of ways to get money in the game... especially by using one of it's many money bugs.

As for taking your stuff back from Magnus, just kill him... If you haven't already get his gloves, they're good, especially for the time you find Magnus.

 

Maps anywhere?

Are there any maps of the cities available? I also have a hard time finding my way around Tarant.

 

No maps in the game, some on the net, look for them... Use the subway things to travel in Tarant.
