what is it that you are supposed to do there?

I have completed the quest for both the dwarf and the elf, and gone back and spoken to them. what do i do then? i can't seem to figure it out, and there are no clues as to what you are supposed to do.

any help you can give would be good.

after speaking with the steward, got talk to the townspeople about the lame guy and the hankercheif. then go back to the steward and expose the person (i wont spoil it)

 

thanks i will have to try that again, as the first time i ended up killing most of them as i was trying to rob the smithy.

 

utimately you have to get into the old mans bedroom and find stuff then talk to the steward about all the incriminating evidence.
