Anyone ever try this? I've been fooling around with it and I can NEVER get the shopkeeps to refresh there stock or MONEY. I have to buy junk just so they can buy my stuff! Before I go any further please let me know. Parmanian PS there are two sections to this module, I just finished the dwarfs quest and it was pretty tough for a lvl 10 (at the time) fighting 5 lords slaves (22) and their master (30) And when you finish the quest the dwarf who gave you the quest just gives you some machined plate which you can;t even sell because nobody in town has any money! I still have the other section to go but if the stores don't replenish.......... heck with it! And the assasin I hired can only use a gun and the shops have run out of bullets!
I had similar problems. Yes, they DO very, very rarely stock back up on money. However, it's never very much anyway so it sucks. I managed to get the general store in the south to refresh the fastest and that was around 20 days each or something similar (in SP with the sleep button). They refresh their stock more often that that, but it's still too long. Of course, since you can't sleep in MP then you have to wait on the far side of the island or in the manor for god knows how many hours and that makes it unplayable almost in MP.
It seems that after I did the dwarf quest and talked to the guy in the manor and went to the shops, they had restocked some items. I then went and finished the elf quest but when I came back no new stock so then I went in the basement to see what was there and then finished the story, the game just ended and that was that. No sense hoarding anything in this game. I finished lvl19 and you can waste a lot of points on things you won't ever need. So I just went for throwing and str using the strength of earth and the vitality of fire. 5 points in throwing, 2 ranks elect (for charged rings) and 2 ranks explosives. Trouble is that since the stores don't restock you have to hold the explosives to the big battles. all in all it can be tough at times but it was interesting minus the restocking and can't rest where you want to. But it only took 4 game days to complete Parmanian
