virgil in stillwater!

I really thought that when you go to the hotel to pick up the book left for virgil, that when you read it virgil would comment on it.

This is the first time I'm playing stillwater out of sequence (by forcing qintarra) and wonder if this plays different now.

Does anyone remember if virgil comments on this?

Nothing changes. The dialogue is vague enough ("let's just continue with the task at hand....") to accomodate early arrivals.

IIRC, his dialogue with the telegram from Joachim changes slightly if you get it after visiting the Schylers. "Finding the owner of the ring" becomes "finding out what's really going on here", or something like that.

 

sometimes I even forget to get the telegram in Tarant! I don't want to give up the coins I guess!

Can you even get the book in Stillwater without reading the telegram first? I mean, without having to steal the book.

 

What is it? 2 coins? Max of 15 coins to be sure. How can you NOT have so much money by the time you first visit Tarant that even 15 coins is just a proverbial drop in the ocean?
