so from what i can gather Vendigroth was a ancient highly advanced city then annoraks came and killed evryone so i was thinking
    A) that the above ground Vendigroth was sent to the void but that couldent of worked because of Vendigroth's tek araura

    B) how did the Vendigrothian lands become a wasteland? i think that the Vendigrothians construcked a great water pump to pump water from deep underground to make the lands green because who would build a city in the middle on nowhere with no noticable resources

    C) if you read the Vendigrothian newspapers you can find out more about Vendigroth like the submersable fish thing that gets whashed up on the isle of dispaire and i wonderd what may of gone wrong and how could it of been powered - couldent of been steam

    D) why was the magical city of tulla built so near a tek araura from Vendigroth you would of thaught it would of been built further away from Vendigroth

Arronax used magic so powerful he wiped Vendigroth out of existence, the catacombs are a small remnant of a much bigger society. Nasrudin mentions that the entire area now known as the wastes was once covered in Vendigrothian settlements, so Vendigroth wasn't just one city it was a civilisation.

This civilisation to do everything so in order to purge technology and its aura from Arcanum Arronax completely stripped the wastes of any life whatsoever which is why the place is now a wasteland.

The magic used to do this was damned powerful since it overcame the most advanced technology to ever exist in Arcanum (except possibly the Wheel Clan) and as a result the tech aura in Vendigroth was replaced with a magical one, hence why Tulla was built in the area.

We don't know the exact ages of Tulla and Vendigroth so who can say which was there first?

Of course not! A steam powered submarine, what a ridiculous idea!

    http://www.travelinginspain.com/barcelona/ictineo.htm

"Historical Notes: The Ictineo II is the first steam powered submarine in the world. It was invented and built by Narcis Monturiol, an engineer born in Figueres (Girona, Spain) on September 28, 1819. Besides he studied Law and wrote about Geography, Physics and Natural History.

He first conceived the Ictineo to help coral fishermen in their rough job. He started to build the submarine on February 10, 1862, it was 17 meter long and 65 tons of weight, and was launched on October 2, 1864. In the beginning it worked with a propeller operated by sixteen men, but owe to its poor performance he decided to change the human power for a 6 Hp steam engine. The re-launching took place on October 22, 18677, once the difficulties were defeated. The submarine did thirteen immersions to as much as to 30 meters deep and the longest one lasted for seven and a half hours, while underwater it was propelled by a one-cylinder machine set on the ship's stern.

Narcis Monturiol was ahead of his time and amongst other things, he invented the double hull as well as the bulb-shaped bow, still being used nowadays in modern vessels.

In 1868 because of financial problems the Ictineo II was seized by creditors, broken up and sold as scrap metal. Narcis Monturiol died on September 6, 1885. "

Personal opinion - Tulla has a younger "feel" to it. Ancient, yes, but it doesn't seem as old as even the best preserved parts of Vendigroth.

Pelojian knows where the Vendigroth Ruins are, so I figure that he saw the ruins before he founded Tulla.
