The amount of retarded science in your last post made me look at the camera and shake my head disapprovingly to myself before I slowly turned off my monitor and walked away.

What, trying to save on your water bill? You haven't lived until at least one floor of your house is flooded for chuckles.

I was speaking in reference to actual nuclear detonations, since I've not yet played Fallout 3. Because of that, I forgot that anyone talking about nukes in Fallout 3 was actually talking about nukes in Fallout 3.

    OK. But...

...what is that even supposed to mean? I'm not following you here.

Wow look at the ass talk shit. Enlighten us then since I've been so careless in stating something I claimed from the begining I was a bit fuzzy on. Apparently my overwhelming laziness to even wiki it was too offensive for some.

    Alright, because I hate being wrong, I looked up definitions for both vaporize and evaporate. They have nearly identical definitions on one point, demonstrated thus (from dictionary.com);

    va⋅por⋅ize

    –verb (used with object)
    1. to cause to change into vapor.
    –verb (used without object)
    2. to become converted into vapor.
    3. to indulge in boastful talk; speak braggingly.

    e⋅vap⋅o⋅rate
/ɪˈvæpəˌreɪt/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [i-vap-uh-reyt] Show IPA Pronunciation
    verb, -rat⋅ed, -rat⋅ing.
    –verb (used without object)
    1. to change from a liquid or solid state into vapor; pass off in vapor.
    2. to give off moisture.
    3. to disappear; vanish; fade: His hopes evaporated.

Also, though the technical term for a solid to gaseous transitions is sublimation, it can also be said that the solid has evaporated.

And, I guess this all makes me look like a bit of an asshole, considering noone really cared but me...

It was gnawing at me so I looked it up too and came to the same conclusion. But instead of admitting my fault, I hid under my desk out of embarrassment.

I think they use the word vaporize so much because it's a lot more dangerous sounding than either of the options. I mean, if a mad scientist yelled at you that he was going to sublimate you, would you really be all that afraid?

That really all depends on what the mad scientist is wearing.
