Shane DeFreest aka Hollywood has posted another weekly update on The Troika Chronicles. Here's the bit:

1) We know different outfits show up in the form of different types of
armor. But will we be able to customize our character in other
different ways? Such as clothing accessories, eyes, face shape, color and style of hair/skin?

We haven't implemented any character customization of that nature in the
game, some of it is on our fluff/wish list. We chose not to emphasize it
too much since the game is mostly played from the first person
perspective.

2) Bloodlines has included adult language in appropriate situations. A
repeated question is will there be nudity is appropriate places in the
game. Such as the strip club?

There will be no nudity in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.

Well, at least the main focus of the game will be on a rich RPG experience instead of boobs.
Spotted at Troika Chronicles
That's weak. A strip club should have topless strippers. That's all there is to it. Otherwise the setting is unrealistic. Anyway, Vampire has alot of strong sexual overtones, so why not translate that into the game properly?
Because they can't sell as many copies if they include actual nudity. People tend not to buy games that include nudity, and the people that do aren't really the audience Troika is trying to get.
Yeah, nudity = tool of the devil. It's not Troika that make these rules, but they apply to every game.
It's strange that games are still seen as children's entertainment, even those with mature ratings. If a movie is rated R and there is some nudity in it, it is sure to sell more tickets to adults. It'd probably be the same way with games, but because it's seen as a mostly-teenaged market, they avoid nudity like the plague.
I WANT TO BE ABLE TO MASTURBATE TO MY FIRST PERSON SHOOTERS WITH STRONG RPG TENDENCIES!!!!! GOD DAMMIT!
