Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster.

I've finally reinstalled Arcanum and started again on my human gunslinger. Having loads of fun with my guns and my persuasiveness and whatnot and I made my way to Tarant soon enough.

Of course, I knew what to expect along the way, the durned Molochean Hand was gonna come after me and I came prepared. Lo and behold, the first three steps on the world map brings me to a random encounter with a level 10 ruffian. Which wasn't too bad since I had Sogg and Virgil and was an Expert at Firearms already.

At least, that's what I thought.

I noticed that even though I could see him 'bleed' from my attacks and everyone else's his hitpoint bar wasn't going down in the least bit. So I reloaded the game and kept doing so to avoid that 'bug'.

Did the Tarant thing, wanted to go back to Dernolm and Liam's so I went back out and ran into the twin robed guys and another level 10 ruffian. The robed guys were easy to kill, but they didn't display their 'deadness' after I killed them; they kept standing but were dead as in lootable.

And I met up with this Ruffian again. I now had 3 followers, all good at melee, and I was a pretty good shot as well. I had 117% on this guy and, get this, I emptied 170 bullets without denting his hp bar. Not a single bit of fluctuation that said he was healing himself really rapidly, nothing. He just took 170 bullets (5 for each of the robed fellas, the rest into him) and he just took it! :-o

I did install the latest patch, was gonna try out the Car Arcanum mod but I deleted the files I extracted (but didn't uninstall anything since there was nothing in the Add/Remove programs). It's a legit copy with the nice box and all, and no no-cd thing.

Any help would be appreciated since I always enjoyed blowing up these Hand fellas. I'll hafta travel by train to avoid them, but I'd rather not do that.
