What are the unique items that you can only find in towns or cities like (does not include follower items/items you get from quests/quest items) Lyold's hammer, Charming medallion and sharpshooter's pistol

 

malloy's peacemaker in the boil pud in tarant,tempered sword on the smith in tarant,helm of strength on the general store person in tarant,the screaming scimatar on the tarant magic smith,the bangellian scourge{not a followers item}elluyn's bow[he's not a follower] and thats all the ones i can think of at the moment.


P.S the bangellian scourge is not a quest item if you do not do stringy peat's quest,the tailor in tarant has the negotiators ring and ritrezze has the charming medaalion hop that helps

Alas, it seems you can only add items from description.mes, not gamedesc.mes. I was heartbroken when I found out. Truly. :cry:

 

A few items from description.mes (can be easily added to backgrounds, merchant's inventories, chests, etc), but I don't think they are in the game:

Folding rifle (between a Hunting and Marksman Rifle)
Hushed Pistol (same stats as Hushed Revolver)
Levered Machine Gun (similar to a Repeater Rifle)
Repeater Rifle Variation 1
Repeater Rifle Variation 2
Balanced Boomerang

 

Hushed Revolvers are awful
most of these items are pretty useless anyway

havent you ever played with magnus?
that is a book, but its useless, it belongs to magnus and it only outlines the moral and chivalrous guidlines of being a dwarf, its only informative, and serves no purpose other than to flesh out magnus's personality a little more

why the heck would you want your gnome to disguise himself as a dwarf anyway? gnomes rule

 

besides if you try to get the book from magnus he gets all annoyed at you

 

Only if you try to remove the book before do the Schuler's (sp?) quest.

 

Well actually it is useful so that you don't accidentaly insult a dwarf. The book tells you certain things that you should not ask a dwarf about.

 

Magnus's book is called Roan's Almanac of All Things Dwarven. Item #30625 in gamedesc.mes. Sometimes I do wonder how many people claiming to have played the game really have....
