Hello, fellow modders! It is me, once again..

    My question is:
If you undat Arcanum, will you lose all save games?

    no.......
but if you modify the files and redat it you won't be able to use them in the mod

    Is that what you meant?

Ok if you undat it the files will be extracted to a folder somewhere else but they will still stay in the original location (sort of like using a zip or rar file) so in this case yes you will be able to play your saved games still. If you alter something like if you create some custom backgrounds or alter invensource.mes to get shopkeepers to buy more things you will still be able to use your saved games.

But if you open up the Maps with worlded and put new characters locations etc and compress them back into a dat (hopefully with a different name) then no for that mod you would not be able to use your save games.
