Turin Altar Stone/Isle of Thanatos Pickle

Alright, so I pretty much just screwed myself. I was wandering around the map early in the game when I came upon the Torin Quarry. There was a big rock there, and unlucky for me, I was just strong enough to pick it up and I can't find where I dropped it.

Now I'm near the end and I need it to redeem that old pirate ghost, and my other options for getting into the Isle of Thanatos aren't so great for me. I don't have nearly enough money to buy a boat, and my gambling skill is low. I could grind, but being at level 42, levels don't come so cheaply anymore.

Do you fellows have any good ideas?

 

There is another way to get the ghost boat, depending on how able you are in combat.

Attack him! Beware though, with his cursed crew it is one of, if not the most, hardest fights in the game.

 

tried that, haha. he ends up whooping me pretty quickly. i wonder if it has something to do with being a magickal character. my strongest spells end up only taking a sliver of health away from him.

i can try again. apply liquid resistance/haste to everybody and just be patient.

 

okay, i disarmed all the skeleton warriors and the battle, while long, was easy as pie. so now i've got the ship ^_^ thanks

 

Nice going. Disarm is a really powerful spell when used in the right situations.

 

Not really, it's just that the skeletons do zero damage in the original game when disarmed. This was fixed in the UAP.
