I've been trying to send an e-mail to the Terra-Arcanum staff regarding a game bug (a major problem with a dialogue file) that I've made a fix for. So far, my e-mails haven't been going through (I tried with both my Roadrunner account and my Hotmail account). Is there an alternate address I can send it to? Thanks.

Thanks for the warm welcome, friend_al_23! I'll try out your suggestions right now. BTW, Ioo, Leto Atreides and Leto Atreides II were characters in the "DUNE" series of books by Frank Herbert.

Ioo, you're presuming that it is somehow inherently better to come up with a completely original name than it is to use an existing name. The difference is relative, not hierarchical, and to say differently is to make a value judgement. If someone said, for example, that "you're just using a made up name because you haven't had enough media exposure to pick a name that you like," they would be committing the same error.

According things equal validity and not to place things along a hierachy is one of the first lessons one learns in Cultural Anthropology. It's an outmoded, ethnocentric fallacy to declare one culture or society "superior" to or more "advanced" than another. In modern biological evolution, no species is more "advanced" or "evolved" than another (though many still make that mistake). To do so would imply a hierarchy of worse to better, which simply does not exist in either case.

I could come up with some completely original name (e.g., Sgt.Sheep, Usthesaur, Pimple Popper, etc.), but I choose not to. I simply prefer the name I'm using. Apples and oranges...
