I used the search function to look around the previous posts and see if i could figure out how to trigger this, but i may be a little more confused now the things i do know are 1. you have to be a human, elf or half-elf 2. you have to have a good alignment 3. you can't be butt-ugly or ridiculously dumb and the things i don't know are 1. do you need to kill Mingorad for this to work? and if you do, does Raven have to offer to heal you? 2. does it matter if you are a technologist? 3. is there a certain sequence of events you have to follow besides getting the ring? 4. does have Zan (the dark elf) in you party affect your chances? 5. is it possible with a half-orc? thank you for your time, sorry if i broke any rules or if i caused any minor inconveniences, I'm new here .
1. No, although it does impress her if you do kill Mingorad 2. No, being a technologist won't affect it but she'll be useless to you as a follower given her high magic allignment 3. You have to play the game through in order, if you try and force your way to Quintara early she isn't there yet. Aside from that just always take the nice option when talking to her and drop that line about her respect making your quest all the more worthwhile. 4. Unless you are a Persuassion Master Raven won't join your party if Zan is one of your followers. 5. No it isn't possible with a Half-Orc.
If you start being nice to people, they will stick around just like that annoying Philes guy. God, I can't stand him.
I'm currently playing a male half-elf in (patched) Arcanum. Raven leaves me at the ring and I don't the option the get her back. I know in the unpatched version the was a bug that made raven unjoinable if your playing a half-elf. My charisma is 20 and am a master in persuasion. I even have Zan in my party. Might that cause the problem? I still have a saved state before the ring. Is there anything I can do to get the option that raven joins me again. (This is the "love" option right ?) Like killing that dark elf queen? Raising stats etc. Thanks
Altough I was patched I remembered the problems with Virgil at Caladon that where suposed to be fixed by the patch, so I patched it again with an new freshly downloaded one and guess what it worked. So here I was thinking it was patched correctly... anyway I changed my race from half-elf to elf with the character editor before the patching the game and that enabled the romance option as well. Zan was also in my party so it didn't seem to matter.
