Trapmaker spectacles?

Browsing through the items slideshow again, I found another interesting item- trapmaker spectacles (+2PE, +2DX. Now where do I find this wonderful device?

 

You get given them, when you complete the detect trap master quest, I believe.

 

You mean the one in the basement of the guy's house in Caladon??

 

Can I steal them?

 

Yes, Daniel, the disarm traps Master in Caladon, will give them to you after you run his maze. No, you cannot steal them. No, you do not need to be going for the quest to do it, you only need to get down into his basement, walk every inch of the maze (many traps, no monsters), & get out. then, if you haven't killed him, he will give them to you.

Trapmaker's Specs; +2 each PE & DX. Dead neutral.
