At work : Cable connection. Instantaneous. At home : Dial-up. Maybe 8 seconds. Note : I'm referring to the forums, that's the page I bookmarked. Are you meaning the home page? If so, that takes slightly longer, on both modems, but not much.
About the same as Retard. I got dial up and it takes about 6-10 seconds, depending on the time of day. It takes longer to load the main TA pages but I'm guessing that it's the pictures and the background that takes time to load; you can read the writing after 3-4 seconds. It should be noted that I use the subsilver scheme so I don't have all those extra pictures to load.
These pages are pretty quick for me wether on dial up from eastern WA or digital cable from Seattle. The slow one for me is the offical Arcanum site. That one, on a brodband conection, is often as slow as on a dialup. Or even slower.
About 1 second to load the SubSilver forum page on DSL. About 10 seconds to load all the pictures on the main page, but the writing is clear after 3 or 4 seconds.
Everything but the gears loads within 2 seconds, but the gears take an additional 5 seconds, every time.
5 to 10 seconds, but some times the text that I'm typing doesn't show up in the box right away. But that is only if I don't have all the little emoticons loaded or if I am on BitTorrent or Kazaa Lite. I am on a 56k if that helps
Today, through a cable modem, 8 - 12 seconds for each page. A little slower than my dial up usualy is.
