I'd like to see a mount system implemented. Technologists driving automobiles of some sort, magically inclined persons ride horses or some other manner of beast ... perhaps donkeys.

Varying forms of long range travel. Trains, and ships are alright to reach destinations along shorelines or normally accessible areas but what about those atop mountains or plateaus?

In Arcanum you are riding upon a derigible, yet it gets shot down and suddenly the bottom drops out of the industry?

Yea the bottom drops from the industry, because no one knows its shot down. They kind of just think that it blew up. And very few people ride in things that used to work, but then exploded.

It was the first of it's kind, a prototype. And since dirgibles can't reproduce by themselves, the species was doomed anyway.

Derigibles are actually making a comeback in modern day society, the Japanese are using one as a communications hub because they are capable of reaching the stratosphere cheaply and effectively.

Older ones were equipped with three heavier than air craft that broke off from the bottom to deal with enemy planes trying to shoot it down.

It seems ridiculous to have the IFS Zephyr be Arcanum's version of the Hindenburg.

Arcanum sucks because it doesn't treat blimps the way you would want it to?

No, I never used such terminology. It just seems a waste of an excellent atmosphere prop.

I enjoy the look of the train depots for example, it would be rather interesting in Arcanum 2 to see a grand derigible anchored down on a field.

Maybe. Any artists could easily produce one. Possibly not of the same caliber, but one nonetheless.

How about having one's own airship? Arcanum with a distinct FF flavour!

I'd rather have a helicopter, even if it is as simple as the one featured in the Road Warrior film. The mages can have magical umbrella's and nunnery headpieces.

Absolutely. Though you'd probably sell more mushrooms and marijuana.

Quantity yes, but not necessarily in terms of cash flow. The British crushed the Chinese economically with opium during Imperialism.

I'd love a game where you wouldn't only be able to drug yourself into a hallucinate state, but also be able to benefit from it in terms of increased insight or whatever.

You take LSD and all the townsfolk turn into blue midgets, your fireballs are technicolor, and all your spells are 10% more effective, but your camera angle also rotates at a speed that changes every 3.7 minutes.

Don't forget the chance for random fear on yourself because the trip starts going bad.

When all the blue midgets turn red, be afraid.

How would you recreate the chance to throw yourself off high buildings in the belief you can fly? ( Discounting of course the mages with their nunnery hats, and umbrellas. )

That's doesn't happen that often actually. I only know a few people who have tried and almost all of them are fine right now.

There is a patient currently in our local asylum that believes he is a glass of orange juice thanks to the miracles of LSD.
