How do I get somebody to train me in, say, persuasion? I ask everyone I see to train me but so far, all I have gotten is apprenticeship in bow. Also, can ANYONE train you in apprenticeship? All the town guards, innkeepers, blacksmithys, seem to be able to train me in SOMEthing......
To be trained, simply follow the dialogue. Pay 100 coins for apprenticeship, 500 for expertice, and do a certain quest to become a master. Haggle though ask you for 100000 coins. Not everyone can train you in a certain skills. Persuasion apprentice trainers are usually the shopkeepers or Innkeepers.
friend Well friend, what I meant was, how do I get them to offer to train me? All they will tell me is I don't have enough skill in that area, or My skills are not refined enough. What I guess I really mean is how do I get skill "in that area"? For example, if I want to be trained in persuasion, what ability do I need to raise, and how high do I need to raise it?
I looked in the manual, but couldn't really find that. Does it list specifically in the manual how many points you must have in your abilities in order to train for a specific skill? (Oh, you mean you must have a 7 in charisma? Is that right?) Sorry I'm so dumb, newbie here :smile: (As if you couldn't tell)
I'm saying like this: There is a plus sign in the persuasion skill right. If you press it, you will lose one point because you'll be adding it in your persuasion skill. You can't raise it though without raising charisma first. You must have a minimum charisma of 6. Then 9. Then 12. Then 15. Then 18. Divisible by three. Look at the window help interface (I don't know what you call them), located at the middle below the screen. It will tell you things if you want to add things in your persuasion.
