http://steampunkworkshop.com.nyud.net:8 ... oard.shtml Among other things... Does anyone here actually every done anything like this? I can't be bothered in the slightest bit, but I do admire people's invention skills.
http://jakeofalltrades.wordpress.com/20 ... mg_0616-2/ The mouse and keyboard are cool... But this is the bomb: http://ironwork.jp/monkey_farm/computer/pc2.html
3626, to be precise. The important question is however something completely different: Are you staying this time?
I lurk quite a bit... But I find this place too slow to post nowadays. It's annoying when you post something with the knowledge that your post might take 2 days to get a reply.
Meh, it seems there's always at least one post in GD whenever I check TA. I'd rather have somewhat small than overwhelmingly large where you get lost. To stay on topic, that keyboard is kickass. Reminds me of "Dad Keyboard" where all the keys are blank, it's just plain black. Looks really cool, but they're like 80 bucks and that's hard to justify for me.
I've never tried it before, but I think I can make one of those keyboards so I may as well give it a go.
I want to try my hand at the mouse. Hell, I might as well make a walnut-paneled monitor with a tempered glass face.
I really like the look of the datamancer PC and I've been meaning to build a new PC for a while now, I'm planning on a new case, some sort of cover for the monitor a mouse and a keyboard (I'm just going to copy the keyboard from the steampunk workshop). However this project is liable to take me a very long time to finish, especially now that I'm trying to think of a way to make a typewriter into a printer.
