    Had you lived in Sweden, this would have been the first day in your life when you'd be legally entitled to buy booze at Systembolaget, the glorious state monopoly on things that have more than 3,5% alcohol in them. Hence my 20th birthday consisted of falling asleep after drinking a bottle of Absolut Vodka somewhat faster than one should.

    That's a large chunk of your estimated lifespan behind you now. You'd better be satisfied with how you chose to spend it, because life ain't getting any easier from this point on. On the upside, you should now be legally allowed to cut short the time you've left to live, by smoking, drinking and getting a job in an old coal power plant.

    Congrats on being a year closer to death. My barfday is the 24th. Since you're yet of legal age, I guess I'll be drinking twice as much liver killing liquid so that we both meet our yearly qouta.

    Ever since he turned 25 or so, my brother has always maintained that at the very least, he's closer to 20 than 40. Of course, he turns 30 next year and therefore can't use that anymore. His sollution is to always increase the years he's closer to 20 from. So when he turns 30, he's at least closer to 20 than he is to 50, and so on.

    So presumably, he'll go on about how he is closer to 20 than 150 when he turns 80.

    Yea, I'm counting down the days, lol. Mainly for the joy of pub food. :) Thanks for all the birthday messages. Semi-sadly, I got more greetings on here (though I didn't advertise my birthday elsewhere), then I did from any of the people I actually know (sans my gf, and my 'old' friends)

    I just found out that state, city, and even company policies will dictate the age at which you can rent a car. The age limit of 25 is in relation to the age at which the company can insure your rental...but it's mostly a national average. I recant my original statement.

    Grimm, you're just under 10 years from the big Four-Oh. Your body's not as resilient as it used to be, and the risk of flatulence during times of stress has gone up exponentially.

    DF, I'd say that your risk of flatulence is currently nearing your maximum. Pub food makes fools of us all.

    Trust me! 50 is nothing to look forward to. The only real advantage I can see is that I can date women half my age - and it's legal! :D

    You can do that at 40 too, or even 36. Hell, if you live in Sweden you can do it at 30...
