New Zealand gaming site GamePlanet has a review on the Temple of Elemental Evil. Here's the summary:

Ups: Excellent rendition of the D&D 3.5 rules; Some great graphics and spell effects that bring the whole D&D experience to life; Big dungeons to explore with a good mixture of monsters and quests.

Downs: Not a game for newbies; Interface can be awkward at first; Some quests are bugged and often it is not clear what the goal is.

Bottom Line: If you are a fan of D&D then this is the game for you. It is about the closest thing you can get to the true feel of the table top game on a PC. If you were disappointed with Neverwinter Nights, be sure to check this out.

All in all, the review gives ToEE a good report, with the major down-side being because of the bugs.

Spotted at the Codex.
You have to be retarded if you're not dissapointed with Neverwinter Nights. Of course, talking about the fan made modules it's a totally different chapter.
whenever i read faqs and interviews about neverwinter nights before it was released all they barely mentioned the single player plot, all they ever talked about was the multiplayer and dungeon master features. i'm pretty sure their focus in creating that game was multiplayer, and modability. :/
in my opinion we should be happy there was any single player campaign at all. when i got tribes 2 i was shocked that there were no single player missions other than the training missions then i realized how good the multiplayer was and it didnt matter. if nwn had been produced that way i'd probably have had the same reaction. my guess is that the majority of people in this forum play a whole lot of single player games? :-? may be thats why you're so insulted by the lack of a deep single player campaign?
I'd think you're right Sleek. Paying full price for a package sold as a bunch of mod tools is one thing, but if that package is sold as a single player campaign as well, you wonder.
