So, have any of you attempted to build models of the weapons from Arcanum?

I'm asking because I'm attending a Steampunk convention in the Fall, and need to make two hand-held weapons (one for me, one for she). I was thinking a small hand cannon for she, and either a Multibarrel pistol or some kind of short barrel rifle (think sawed off shotgun territory).

It takes weeks to make a fine steampunk gun, like these: http://www.gizmowatch.com/entry/16-stea ... r-another/

But you can make something really fast, like a steampunk sword - made of classic medieval sword, tesla coil or spring, light bulbs, and copper-shade paint.

    Good luck!

I'm starting to suspect that I may be asexual too.

For someone with either no interest in sex or no sexual preference, you sure do like watching women lick phallic objects.

Nothing says sexy like an awfully fitted breast-deforming outfit. Who needs firmness, anyway.

No, nothing says sexy like a violation of Euclidian geometry.

Bear in mind that in a portion of more recent Fantastic Four comics (within the last 20 years), Susan's costume isn't real in that she's using her powers to alter the refraction index of the air around her.

So she is walking around naked all the time? I might need to start reading Fantastic Four.

Pretty much. I'm almost certain the costume in that picture is the direct result of her powers, meaning she wanted to look like that without needing to use skin-tight fabric.

The Hulk didn't deal with that crap, though. During one of Banner's transformations, he was the hulk for a very long period of time and ended up with hair down to his chin. The entire time, he was naked because he hated humanity and its conception of modesty. The only "thing" that concealed his dangly-bits was a shadow. A very conveniently placed shadow, which naturally caused in-panel heroes and bystanders to blush.

Nothing says sexy like stealing jokes from Cracked. Naughty, naughty.

Exactly. I didn't steal the reference to the Hulk or how Susan makes her costume with her powers, though. I take for granted that everyone here reads the same stuff I do, so I don't make those jokes to sound clever. But am I not supposed to know that a flat four on round breasts shouldn't exist according to geometry as I learned in high school? That four is flat regardless of perspective, when it should have a skewed shape to make it look flat when viewed straight on.

But that means if you gave her a hug her bare, supple, shapely breasts would be pressed right against you. Also if you hugged her without a shirt on there would be skin to skin contact. Err, I need to go take a cold shower.

    I do (thanks to Muro).
Here's my favorite from what I've read lately about comic book women:
This struck me as especially hilarious because somehow the artists manage to pose women such that both breasts and buttocks are visible, despite being positioned on opposite sides of the body.
Cracked.com consistently delivers interesting trivia. I had no idea that Rickman and Roget were so epic.

So. Do any of you have input? Has nobody tried this? I totally thought someone would have...

Archmage Orinthil made this, but he doesn't seem to be around too often these days.
