Time to catch up with things long overdue

I don't think anyone is going to be getting avatars from this thread. Too many people, too many/not enough options for some.

 

If you keep stating the obvious, Captain Obvious won't need to come back.

Japes had the right idea - customs bestowed by age of membership, given the circumstances. We should get this figured out before the fire dies out again.

I agree with Zanza and, since I'm way down the list anyway, I'll break protocol again and say that I like the Gandhi photo with "Super Calloused Fragile Mystic Hexed By Haliotosis."

 

Hmm... ytzk's a smart fellow, he'd know that breaking protocol would result in him not getting an avatar. However, he's clever enough to realise that we'd know he was fully aware of that, and that we're basically dicks. So we'd reason that he was bluffing, and give him the avatar anyway. So, in conclusion, it's a double-bluff - ytzk does want an avatar, and in order to maintain a suitable level of dickery we should not give him one.

 

I think he just really wants to be Zoidberg.

 

I had a godawful argument with an englishwoman this morning because she had been tying herself in knots about what she thought I thought she thought I thought.

Meanwhile, I'd been totally taken in by her smiling, second face, and completely ignoring the politics at step one: I don't know what she thought and don't care.

In conclusion, my autism trumps your imperial politics... Or is that an elaborate quadruple-bluff??

That sounds dandy to me. Even though I posted up my own title for Philes that picture looks a lot more like an Unfinisher Extraordinare, so that's an aye from me for both.

Well, I still enjoy the two pictures I posted. However, there are far more votes for Frederick Frankenstein than my suggestion, and I do believe the slogan fits Philes more. Begrudgingly, I vote for both Gene Wilder and the title given, with appropriate spelling as Muro advised.

Even though this might be considered as rushing things, I believe we can count this case as closed. We can keep it open until DE or someone else gives Philes his avatar, but IMO we should move on to the next name on the list:
