Time to catch up with things long overdue

I agree with the title "Mistyficator" for Grakelin. Perhaps a musketeer (as character in VFX was one) or Dr. Who as his avatar?

 

I'm entirely too busy with Minecraft in my limited free time to come up with any new ideas. Or to bother reading any new threads. Or to bathe. There's diamonds down there somewhere, I know it. Just have to keep digging...

 

This thread was doing fine until Wolfsbane insisted that we have to come up with the avatars in a particular order. Part of me admires the way he took charge and ordered us around, his stern gaze scrutinizing my quivering body, his hand raised ready to discipline me for my inappropriate thoughts.

But another part of me thinks we should ignore him and move on to the next victim.

 

Yes, start with the most conspicuous.

 

I couldn't say who the most conspicuous is, but the next person on the list is wayne-scales, who is conspicuous enough to have generated the following opinions so far:

As for the slogan/title thingy, it looks like this:

So, ignoring Arthgon, because he didn't settle on anything, we have a clear majority for the Spock avatar and are undecided on the slogan. If forced to choose between the main two, I'd pick "Obstreperous difference engine", which then leads to a tie.

Now, if we take into account the opinions of existing avatar holders, who are the only people whose opinion counts, we have this:

I think that's why people are more keen on a title, rather than my artfully drawn picture. However, even though I think as Grakelin said such an out of synch title associated with the Spock avatar is more humourous than a title that matches up, you can write me off as neutral if it's stopping a majority winning over. Both are good titles. Plus Arthgon came up with "Thanks For All The Fish" and my burning jealousy makes me like the title slightly less.

 

So, if we include people who don't count, the tally so far is this:

3 votes for Spock with "Fucking illogical, Captain"
1 vote for Spock with "Obstreperous difference engine"
3 votes for Spock with "Thanks for all the fish"

On the other hand, if we don't include people who don't count, it's this:
