Time mod problems

After you enter the time portal to prevent the town from being destroyed, how do you do that and return to your own time. And where is that evil thing you are going to destroy. I am at the place the portal was and deeper and that. But I cant fing enything at exept deamons and stuff. Anyone have a clue what to do?
