Thieves guild in Tarant

    What is the other way to get into the guild in Tarant? If I sneak past Lukan in SH, I don't know about the guild. There is supposed to be a quest in Tarant that will open up the thieves guild dialog and I think its the pettibone quest.

    This is just to get apprentice/expert in pickpockets earlier in the game.

    It's the Pettibone quest or you can get Gilbert Bate's diary for Cedric Appleby.

    Thanks, gonna try that in the next game. Plus get all the goodies from the quest. Me, dog, sogg and virgil aught to handle that at level 3!
