There are no water based or aerial creatures in Arcanum.

Very odd, never encounter anything which swims or flys in arcanum.

Even in Ultima or Diablo 2, at least u see creatures which swim. In Ultima, even got flying creatures. Eg birds, but Arcanum dun even have birds, not even in the wild.

Very funny. I wonder how come birds never evolve in Arcanum, since they have foxes, wolves, bears, even dogs and rats.

No fishes or octupses as well. No sea battle, like in Baldurs Gate 2.

Seem a bit unrealistic in this aspect.

And I thot magicians can fly on broomsticks, Harry Potter style.

Btw, anyone watching the new Harry Potter movie ?

Maybe all the swimming and flying creatures got eaten by the Development Budget Monster.

 

If that's the case it's appetite seems to be rather huge...X

There are air and water elemntals in the game, they are ground -bound though.. But wisps do fly right??

 

Familiars fly, but can still be hit by traps and stuff so they are exactly the same as if they walked except they have a cooler attack

Again, a bit funny, I combine a large capacitor weighting 2 stones and a Cure All weighting 5 stones and I get, not 7 stones but 300 stones.

It's funny that everyone comments on the weight, but I don't think I have seen anyone talk about volume. The "perfume bottle" holding 300 stones of stuff is tiny. Just how dense is the stuff in that bottle?

Also, why is the capacitor the same size as the large capacitor? I mean, it says "large" but what's large about it if it's the same size?

Damn - this is all so silly. I feel like one of those Trekkies, who watches an episode of the men-flying-around-at-FTL-meeting-aliens-travelling-in-time TV show and says things like "It's unrealistic that Nelix's stew never has turkey in it."

there isn't any flying monsters in fallout2 either (except those at den) :smile: still a great a game... needless to say all those flying and swimming monsters in D2 don't make it better then eitehr arcanum or fallout

 

well at Liams workshop there is a couple of Jelly fishes...

 

Yeah Jelly Fishes are (generally) swimming creatures, so there is one, but since they hover about in that place, they're also flying.. I guess there are all kinds of creatures in Arcanum. :smile:

 

one thing Harry Poter is gay(it is a bad example of fantasy)

the other thing there r flying creature(familiars, jelly fish thing, wisps, and isnt there a spell that can make u fly(i hant ever seen that spell)
