I was wondering do therapeutic intelligence boosting items boost your character's intelligence beyond its cap like intelligence potions or not? Because using intelligence potions in that way whilst playing a techie character always feels cheap to me, and the character I want to make will be a Half-Ogre hence he'll need his intelligence will be capped quite low. Thanks in advance.
Do all of the stat-building therapeutics have drawbacks or is it only the really good ones that, despite lowering certain stats, can be worth the trade-off? I know there's a schematic for an item that will increase your intelligence but decrease your strength, and vice versa. Or maybe I'm confused and put two completely different item descriptions together.
Cheers Muro, you're a scholar of Arcanum as always. To Gross, the Brainbuilder gives +1 all Mental attributes and -1 all Physical attributes, the Musclemaker does vice versa. Anything else the effects are temporary and there are no drawbacks. Thanks for the advice, I will build my magical and technological half-ogre fist fighter; but not before 100% completing Arkham City when that comes out!
