I'm too tired to take advantage of this line.
Somebody else will have to do it.

Is this racism or sexism? I can't decide.

It's both. Women constitute a different race altogether.

Claiming that the quality of being female qualifies as a separate race is not inflammatory enough. Let us operate with "lesser" as opposed to "different" and see some fur fly.

Not that the topic was going anywhere with any amount of determination, and I understand that not imbibing or fornicating limits the degree to which Yuki can relate to the majority, but by God's thumbs a reminder that you play guitar is uncalled for! You created a thread in which you already shared this trivia with the community.

Even if this were in my jurisdiction, I would let it be. The only thing better than Christian music is spoofed Christian music.

I think getting that drunk is worth it, at least sometimes. Just to forget everything for a while. I get that way, or close, two times a week. But I also enjoy a drink without getting so drunk.

I would enjoy getting plastered a whole lot more if I hadn't reached the age where 72 hours is a normal recovery time.

Ah yes, the dreaded hangover. My very first hangover, I woke up feeling like I had a jackhammer inside my head trying to get out, and a sledgehammer on the outside trying to get in. And my dear lovely sister had apparently taken my parents instructions to 'keep it down' to mean 'play Rage at full volume to aggravate your sister's hangover'. (Rage being one of those annoying 'top 100' shows the ABC runs every Saturday and Sunday morning here.)

One day, one fine fucking day I will get my revenge.

I never really get a hangover. I'm just a bit tired.

With strictly beer, though, I get a bit of a headache, but not hard alcohol.

    Let's drink to that.

I'm thinking maybe I can use my blood as an antidote against hangovers. I'd be rich!

You can't, sorry. You just happen to have a healthy liver and set of kidneys. With you getting plastered twice a week I wonder how long that'll last. :p

Well, at least I can take solace in the face that my enforced sobriety is preserving vital organs.

I'm not at that age yet, but I'm at the age where any amount of drinking basically takes a full day, and that's bad enough.

How about acting like a retarded monkey on drugs after getting drunk, and finding out about it from a friend the next day? Doesn't anyone give a damn about it? Am I the only one so attached to his self-respect? :p

Drinking can be quite fun if you stop before the point where you do really stupid shit.

No, but after a couple of years have passed, the shame dissipates and it becomes something you can have a laugh at, because most people you know have done the same at some point in their lives.

EDIT: Had to add a quote thanks to Xz.

There was one time that I will never forget. Some years ago, I was totally pissed on someone's party. I smoked some pot, drank four beers, and a full bottle of white wine, and a half of the delicious red wine as well. Hours later, I passed out in the middle of the garden. After a while, I woke up, and thought "Shiiiit, that was not a good move."

The worst thing is trying to get with your female friends, grabbing their ass and shit, plus saying some dumb things. That's really embarrasing the next day. I'm over that now, though. It seems I can better avoid it now, though instead I often get in a really bad mood where I either have to leave whatever club or bar I'm in to avoid a fight, or I take it out on myself by punching a wall or something.

This is merely a matter of perspective...
