All you haft to do to become permanently invisible is put on the “Ring of Shadows” found in the “Strange Pond” and keep your health up until you pass out, then take off the ring and when you wake up your invisible. To become visible again put the ring on and remove it quickly. you stay invisible even if moving on the map or resting.

Or at lest it alwase works for me.

It works for everyone as far as I know. A rather useful bug for many a character, but to me it feels like blatant cheating. The Dark Helm is one thing, it has a trade off, but this is just free bonuses.

You still become visible when attacking, and you risk you life to get it. After all I’ve used the ring to kill people before. Just get the “Sense Hidden” Spell and the ability to resurrect them and you can take all there stuff, and they still like you.

But your right it is like cheating.

Cheating is reprogramming the schematics so that you can get 20 Automations for the price of a Spike Trap. But I only did that once, and most of the time I left them in a box in the Tarant ware house.

I’ve also learned the trick where you cast a spell on a person and use a “Dweomer shield” to make it permanent.

You can also use the Baneful Guantlets to pull the same trick without needed the spell Sense Hidden.

I know but it takes longer to kill them with the Baneful Gauntlets. Plus I've had the gauntlets not work before, like when I tried to kill bates with them yesterday.

If you look at the Baneful Gauntlets they aren’t all bad for your character, for short periods of time if you have a really good poison resistance. The Ring of Shadows will kill you in ten seconds.
