The ranks: too few ,better weapons!

I *love* the idea of advancing rank and the weapon system thing is seriously cool.Could you perhaps extend the weapon selection somewhat? beyond 500 posts? And who decided that the mace is a higher level than the cool looking sword :/ <the mace and club look too much alike> Maybe spike/dagger/mace/sword,etc. ? Just a humble opinion. :grin:

 

In my humble opinion, there should be an axe instead of one of the clubs.

 

I think all the weapons should be replaced by different kinds of posts, to represent postcounts.
A toothpick for newbies, a 2x4 for journeymen, and a railroad tie for >200 or so.
Or maybe different kinds of trees...

 

Given the average length of a message the rank-images should be replaced by smaller graphics.

This board is already heavily overloaded with ( very pretty ) graphics.

 

um, wojit, a mace is not a club, well not really anyway :smile:


lol, dormouse, i agree that the hight of the picture to the left, and the avergage post hight don't do well together.

I think it'd be nice if we could pick a picture thingy from a couple options.
Also, "Untrained" should be the railroad spike.
And what's up with this potion thingy friend_al's got? I liked the Technological Marvel better. Whine whine whine.

 

Maybe because I suggested something like it because this board is full of tech stuff like the technological marvel, the guns, the sword, well, the sword is kinda magickal.

 

Why not a Magickal Marvel, huh? WHy not??
It's not like the game isn't biased towards mages anyway

 

not really, ever tried a grandier, revolverman?

oh, well the granades part is the fine part in it

but some guns do loads of damage as well, but still nothing beats the granades, as you can push people away each turn, longer then they can get forth per turn.

anyway, no melee weapon have ever done as much damage in one hit as a tesla coil rifle againt a metal heavy object.
