Yeah, and it doesn't keep track of the changes to the poll result either so you cant figure it out by checking voting times either.

I don't? But if I had 4 trades with people on the same team, that'd be +4 happiness which would equate to $8 per citizen in extra income!

Sure, but there are other ways to raise happiness. Besides, $8 per citizen is a small prize to pay to be member of the GC.

Exactly. Spices, sugar, beer, and wine all raise happiness, and together they raise happiness MORE than a trade bonus. Also silver, and gems, too.
Basically, if you can get them drunk, keep their food from getting bland, and give them shiny things, you're all set.
My citizen happiness is 17.36 or something while at defcon 5, due to my high taxes. They still love me, and I don't have all of the happiness boosters I mentioned.

The membership vote for the GC lasts 48hrs.

I've tryed no less then 3 times to streamline the process but I can't get it through to the voting stage until I have an ammendment to the Charter that the JAG agrees meets GC quality control levels (in other words one he'd want to see instituted) if the JAG doesn't like something they just have to question its quality and there won't be a vote.

Except you could get them in ADDITION to the trade bonus. That's like, +4 mother fuckers! +4!

    +4!

I mean with that, I'd only be at -15 happiness! Oh hey it's my birthday today, +2 happiness.

Sure, but how would a trade bonus on top of that sound?

Ok, so you can get more happiness. It's still not needed.

I'm comfortable without the bonus, I'm sitting slightly below 20 happiness at the moment, based purely on my tech level and the happiness bonus some of my resources give me.

Once I start buying stadiums I won't be needing the colour bonus at all.

I guess we can put it to a vote, but frankly I have come to like the idea of being the only alliance that considers itself above matters of colour.

Who here's in the Grey Council? Is this still true?

Change colours, make the trade, change back. Keep the +1 happiness bonus. Is that how you buggers do it?

Thats how we did it, unfortunately they found us out and removed the exploit.

I only ever did it once anyway.

Yeah, the one time I tried that, I instantly lost the trade happiness bonus. Thankfully, the guy with whom I was trading had promised to give me 50,000 in aid regardless, just in thanks of trading with him.

I choose to answer this now, long after it has been been relevant or of any use.

The poll lasts for 48 hours.
