as near as i can figure, large testicles, young boys, bastard children and lawsuits ARE the only benefits you get from religion.

It's a philosophy. There's no worship or gods, so it's not a religion.

 

That's no explanation at all! Atheism is a religion without a god! Are you saying atheism is a religion? Are you saying Confucianism isn't a religion?

• It seems Etalis has a point. I was expecting the encyclopedia to support Jar, so I would have been wrong, too.
• I'm still a bit dubious. What do atheists say to the question "What's your religion?" I bet most say, "I'm an atheist," rather than "None." This would suggest atheism can be taken as a religion through pragmatics, if not semantics.
• Apparently, encyclopedia are my god, or at least my gospels.
