Cancer. It seems everyone around me is dying of cancer. It can affect anyone at any time, for any reason. Or no reason. It just happens. Sure, there are known carcinogens, but I know of people who've never smoked a thing and have wound up with lung cancer. It could be the environment. It could be the food you eat. It can be the air your breathe, or the water you drink. Who knows, it probably is the water. With all of what's put into drinking water to make it clean, or to mineralize your teeth (flouride, past childhood, is bad for you folks), or even what's left in the water, what can't be filtered out; pharmaceuticals, hormones, viagra. What you piss into water that gets recycled stays there. Of any of the myriad of causes for cancer, your body is flat out trying to kill you. Cancer is a collection of mutant white-blood cells that multiply until they're officially a malignant tumor. Some cancers are slow, some are fast. Tasmanian devils have been spotted with tumors on their faces. These tumors are spread by biting. Apparently, all tasmanian devils are so closely related, that cancer cells can be swapped to different devils with virtually no problems; all of the tumors are related to one another, just as the devils are. It's the same cancer afflicting dozens of different animals.
Basically where I'm going with this rant is cancer is out there. There's no cure. It can get you, your friends, and anyone you know. Or don't know. It's so rampant in this world, it's almost the new black.

Tasmanian devils aren't the only thing on the island that are closely related.

Life sucks, then you get cancer, then you go through chemotherapy, which doesn't seem to be working, then you experience a sudden remission and you feel like you're on top of the world, and with the insight and experience you've gained you decide to start living better, healthier and so on. Then suddenly you have a stroke and can't move your right side. Then suddenly the cancer returns and it's even worse then before, hoping you experience another remission you refuse euthanasia. You suffer, and then you die.

    That's life.

I'm against recycling and stereotypical "green" activities unless they are proven to be economically feasible and safe, like in the case of aluminium. Recycling water is simply disgusting and can be a health hazard, I believe most countries flat out forbid it for use in drinking water, swimming pools, etc.

Cancer cells aren't necessarily from white blood cells, it can be from almost any cell in the body capable of mutation and reproduction. Part of the difficulty of treating cancer arises from the variety of cancer cells.

Another case of transmissible cancer is the canine transmissible venereal tumor, which can affect dogs, foxes and coyotes.

And another remarkable cancer is the HeLa cell line, taken from cancer patient Henrietta Lacks, which can reproduce indefinitely, given the appropriate environment, and is the cause of most contaminations in other cell cultures.

How is HeLa's line remarkable from other cancers? Is the reproduction of other cancer cells restrained?

Her cancer is biologically immortal. She died decades ago, and her cells are still actively dividing in petri dishes. Most cancers, when extracted from a host, die within days of being excised. However, researchers were able to isolate a particular cell from her cancer and keep it dividing indefinitely, the cell being among those that showed peculiar traits among cancers. This lead to the HeLa cell line, the hallmark of cancers, and current source of study for anyone interested in immortality.

Sounds almost like an early stage of Deadpool.

However, TonySopranos DVD is larger than life character, and James Gandolfini does a fantastic job in bringing him to life, with all its contradictions, hesitations and sudden rages. Gandolfini to play like him, Tony Henry VIII Joisey accent, or Ralph Kramden with 0.38. All the other performers - Edie Falco Scrubs DVDCarmela, Dr. Melfi, Lorraine Bracco, Michael Imperioli as Christopher - even managing an incredible balance act their characters. But more specifically, Nancy Marchand - was previously known in aristocratic roles - as Livia, Tony's mother The Tribe DVDbitter and paranoid, emasculating mother, if ever there was one. After all the hype, all prices, and the four seasons to be released on DVD, finally began to see "The Sopranos." From the first episode I was hooked. It was nothing like I expected, but it's a greatNCIS:Los Angeles DVD show. "The Sopranos" is a TV show about Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), a mob boss and mid-level family. As a fan of "The Godfather" and mafia movies, I thought I had an idea of ??what to expect, but "The Sopranos" takes the concept of the mafia in a different direction. One way to get an idea of ??what "The Sopranos" is simply "The Godfather", push One Tree Hill DVDforward 50 years to the present, and reduce the extent of Michael Corleone `s authority of the mafia. Get something that is not too far from "The Sopranos."

I disagree, I think the Sopranos was a terrible show to be completely honest.

I felt it took too long to do anything, talk for 10 episodes before someone dies, kind of like Dragonball Z.

The show got bad after Freeza was defeated by Goku. That was when the series was supposed to end, but fans of the comic wrote Toriyama and begged him to keep it going. After that it was one big masturbatory ki-grunt on behalf of all of the characters. "I'm stronger than you!" "No, I'm stronger than you!" And let's forget GT ever happened.

Why are Androids 17,18,19 and 20 called androids when they are clearly cyborgs?

Translation error? At first they talked about how they were robots, but then later they are apparently humans with upgrades.

It's a misunderstanding of Toriyama's, calling them androids. Really, the only ones that are androids are16, 19, and 21, a.k.a. Cell. And even Cell is iffy, he's got different life stages, almost as if Dr. Gero created an artificial insect-man that grows and has dividing cells.
But still, when asked how he had a child with Android 18, Krillin says slyly, "She wasn't always an android." This would indicate that 18 was indeed a human, and had been upgraded with cybernetic implants and power generators. Therefore, yes, 17, 18, and 20 are cyborgs, but 19 is an android, as well as 16. I don't know how to define Cell.

Toriyama (according to the Dragon Ball Wiki) used the term "人造人間" which (according to Japanese Wikipedia) means "android", so it was the mistake of the author rather than the translators.

    And everything before 16, right?

Didn't he have a living brain in a glass-like container, like Gero, indicating that he, too, started up as a human?

As for the name, was it ever said that Cell is a part of the numbered android series rather than an independent project?

Ad for the number, it's been years since I last saw the series, but I seem to recall something about Cell being possibly created before the last of the android series.

A collective of well-organised reproducing nanobots, perhaps?

I can't really say whether Cell is 100% artificial or not - it has been said that cells of various characters were used to create him, but I don't recall if it was said whether it was just the genetic information within them or were the cells actually kept alive within Cell. If the former, he's a robot, if the latter, he's a machine-Sayan-Namek-Freezarace hybrid.
